The year began on site. From the first working day, MACCA's creative and technical team visited three of the projects that will mark the immediate future of the hotel operation in Medellín: RYO53, Action Living y Urbit Garden.

RYO53: official start
In the La Aguacatala neighborhood, demolition work began on the site where the new building will be constructed RYO53a project designed from scratch for digital nomads, with offi-suite suites and hotel services. The work has already begun with the clearing and land clearing phase. During the visit, the potential of the first commercial floor was highlighted, with two commercial spaces available, ideal for gastronomy, given the proximity to universities and offices, and the lack of good supply in the area.
Action Living: last slabs
The second stop was at Action Livingthe first fitness lifestyle hotel in the country. The structure is already in its final stages: the slab 12 was pouredand only one more remains to close the building with the rooftop. The triple-height area where the offices of the gym and common spaces between the hotel and the sports operation will be located was also completed. The rooms are already visible and the differences in views and sizes will allow for a flexible rate strategy that will position the hotel in search engines with great competitiveness. The flag will be set at the beginning of February.
Urbit Garden: foundations under construction
The last visit was in Urbit Gardensecond stage of the Urbit model in the heart of Laureles. The land is already excavated and in the process of foundation. The structure will begin to rise in the coming weeks. Although it is not yet visible from the street, the pace of progress is consistent with the schedule. The project seeks to operate as a hotel under the Blackroom model, and is being developed in one of the most strategic points of the entire sector.

This tour is more than a technical update. It is a sample of what it means to build with intention: three different projects, with different audiences, but with the same principle behind them: every meter that is advanced is thought from the point of view of use, operation and profitability.
